Treating a wound that won't heal can be frustrating, expensive and time-consuming. Pain and discomfort, declining mobility and fears about possible amputation are commonly experienced. The Edward Wound Healing Center offers services for those with chronic, non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, hypertension and other conditions.
The Edward Wound Healing Center offers patients with chronic wounds a comprehensive treatment program utilizing advanced medical and surgical treatments. Our interdisciplinary team of wound care specialists will design a treatment plan to meet your individual needs and keep you, your family and your primary care physician involved in the treatment and recovery process.

Making an appointment is the first step to feeling better. Ask your physician to contact us or feel free to call yourself. The Edward Wound Healing Center is conveniently located in the Heart Hospital adjacent to the hospital's North Lobby. Valet parking is available at the North Lobby Entrance. When should I go to the Edward Wound Healing Center? If you have a wound that fails to show significant improvement in four weeks talk to your physician about referring you to the Edward Wound Healing Center.

Insurance Coverage Many health plans cover wound care treatment. Coverage depends on your specific plan and any necessary referrals and authorizations that your plan may specify. Be sure to bring your insurance card and any other necessary paperwork when you come for your appointment.
