Naperville's 9th Annual Walk to Remember will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion in Naperville. The walk proceeds benefit the Edward Foundation's SHARE Program — a nurturing place to come together for those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.
The SHARE Program is a local and national organization that serves and supports those who are touched by the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth and early infant death. A Walk to Remember will raise funds that are vitally needed to support SHARE's mission to provide support to families experiencing the loss of a child.
Donations help fund support groups, counseling services, activities and events, education and bereavement training, resource and reference materials, special projects and program supplies – tools to help guide families through the grieving process.
More than 400 people attended the 2012 A Walk to Remember to honor and remember the close to 200 babies whose names were read during a memorial service held before the Walk.
To join in honoring all the children lost through miscarriage, stillbirth and early infant death, register for Naperville's 9th Annual Walk to Remember 2013.
