24/7 Help Line
Linden Oaks is dedicated to complete recovery. Our programs help adolescents and adults rediscover themselves by developing new ways of communicating and coping that restore and maintain overall balance. In addition, we also provide care for older adults who have unique medical and psychological needs.
When we recommend a recovery plan, we consider a variety of different options, including inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment programs. As well as individual, family, and group therapy. We want you to understand these options and feel comfortable to ask questions about the approach we will use.
Inpatient treatment services
Adolescents, adults and older adults who are facing severe behavioral health issues such as depression, addiction or eating disorder may be referred to our inpatient treatment program. During this time, the individual remains at Linden Oaks and is closely cared for as we begin working toward long-term recovery. Each day consists of programming with therapists, psychiatrists and other mental health associates to address the disorder.
Our Special Intensity Unit is a safe, structured environment designed to help reduce external stimulation for those experiencing acute and severe psychiatric symptoms. This unit is especially useful for those who require more support due to the severity of their diagnosis.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services (IOP)
As a follow-up to inpatient treatment, our IOP program is recommended, which offers a higher level of care and helps the patient make the transition to outpatient care and daily routines. Offered at both our Naperville and Plainfield locations, the IOP program offers therapy including group, individual and family therapy.
Outpatient treatment services
The patient remains in his home environment and comes to Linden Oaks for sessions. Outpatient care requires 3 hours each day and consists of individual, group and family counseling sessions. It is offered at both our Naperville and Plainfield locations.
A vital part of recovery involves individual therapy with our experienced behavioral health specialists. One-on-one therapy helps individuals get to the heart of the matter, discover ways to overcome difficulties, develop inner strengths, and ultimately make changes in themselves. We also provide medication management and education.
Family support plays a vital role in recovery. Our therapists work with families to help patch strained relationships, teach new coping skills, and improve how the family works together.
Our focused group therapies help individuals work through personal issues in a supportive, confidential atmosphere. Participants benefit through active participation and observation, and by providing help to others going through similar issues.
