The Joint Commission has designated Edward a Stroke Center of Excellence and one of 17 Primary Stroke Centers in the Chicago area.  In addition, Edward has been recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association's Get With the Guidelines^SM program for achievement in cardiac and stroke patient care.
