12. How do I know that the amount you are billing me is the correct amount?

Once your health plan processes the claim, they will send you an explanation of benefits (EOB). You can compare the EOB to the statement sent by Edward by matching the dates of service and total charges. Your insurance will process your claim based on your benefits and their contract with Edward. If you feel your insurance should have paid a different amount, please contact them directly for resolution.
