The class starts promptly. These courses are classroom-based, video-driven and led by an AHA Heartsaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor. All teach skills using the AHA's research proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows Instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' acquisition of skills. This AHA course includes CPR, choking and use of the AED for infants, children and adults.
Upon successful completion of all course requirements, students receive a Heartsaver course completion card in CPR and AED; Course completion cards are valid for two years.
Intended Audience:
AHA's Heartsaver courses are for those with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in CPR and AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.
