You must hold a current BLS/CPRH certification card to take this recertification class. CLASS STARTS PROMPTLY. Our American Heart Association video-based, instructor led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills and trains you to recognize life threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and early use of an AED. Class covers CPR, AED use and choking for infants, children and adults. Upon successful completion of all course requirements, students receive a Health Care Provider CPR/AED card valid for 2 years.
This course you will be taking is physically demanding. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. CPR is hard work in both practice on a manikin and doing CPR for a cardiac arrest victim.
