American Legion names Pam Davis Citizen of the Year By David Sharos For The Sun April 4, 2012
Pamela Davis has spent more than 20 years serving as CEO of Edward Hospital and Health Services.
In recognition of her contributions, American Legion Post No. 43 has announced Davis the winner of its Citizen of the Year Award.
The annual Citizen of the Year Award recognizes extraordinary service to the Naperville-area community or to the nation. Wayne Fischer, a past commander of the American Legion and the award’s selection committee chairman, said the five-man group reviews at least 25 candidates a year and that this time “Davis just stood out from all the rest.”
