Edward, ProActive Kids partner to fight childhood obesity.
ProActive Kids launches second site, partners with Edward Hospital to fight childhood obesity in DuPage County
(Naperville, IL – November 9, 2011) – ProActive Kids (PAK) Foundation has announced it is joining forces with Edward Hospital to launch a second PAK site to help tackle the community’s childhood obesity challenge.
Edward will work closely with ProActive kids to help support and deliver the unique, results-oriented, free program which will be held at the Edward Health & Fitness Center (EHFC) at Seven Bridges, located at 6600 S. Route 53 in Woodridge.
ProActive Kids will enroll 20 kids for each of its upcoming winter sessions, scheduled to begin on January 23 at EHFC and PAK’s location in Wheaton. Kids and families are encouraged to sign up at www.proactivekids.org. A referral from the child’s primary care physician is required.
