Coldwell Banker Foundation supports Edward's Ronald McDonald Family Room. Read more.
The Coldwell Banker Foundation recently presented a check for $10,000 to the Edward Foundation to fund one of the Internet stations in Edward Hospital's Ronald McDonald Family Room, currently under construction and scheduled to open in early 2012.
The 2,000-square foot Family Room will be a short walk from Edward's Newborn Intensive Care (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and offer parents a place to rest and regroup with a large living room, relaxation areas, kitchen and an educational resource area with Internet access. A playroom for patients and siblings, sleeping rooms and showers will also be available.
Fundraising for the Family Room is part of Edward Foundation's KidsCare Campaign, with proceeds also being used for the complete renovation of Edward Hospital's NICU, PICU, other pediatric care areas and pediatric special procedure rooms.
