Come learn the latest about the aging brain and what studies show about how to age successfully.

Become Heart Aware. Join Jo Kaleel, RN, BSN and Amanda Hunt, MS, RN from Edward Heart Hospital to learn about heart disease. Learn about heart disease risk factors as well as recognizing the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and stroke. All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win either a coupon for a free Family and Friends CPR class or a CPR Anytime Kit.

Are you a Pear or Apple: What Your Body Shape Says About Your Health
December 9, 7 - 8 pm, Fox Valley YMCA, 3875 Eldamain Rd., Plano
It's not how much you weigh, but where you carry your weight that could predict your future health. A cardiovascular nurse educator will discuss how your body shape relates to your health and what you can do to prevent disease as well as how to lose more weight with less effort.
