(Naperville, IL - July 9, 2009) - Residential Home Health, a nationally recognized leader in its field, has entered into an agreement with Edward Hospital to purchase Edward Home Care, a department that has provided home care services to the community for the last 14 years. In addition, Edward has agreed to purchase a minority stake in the Illinois operations of Residential Home Health.
Staff and leadership of Edward Home Care will transition to employment with Residential Home Health, which will maintain an office at Edward Hospital to assist in the coordination of care of current and future home care patients. The deal is planned to close no later than July 31.
