For those couples whose schedules are too busy for a regular childbirth class, we now have an "express" version! This class combines an e-learning childbirth class which can be completed at home on your own computer, and a 5-hour in-person class where you will practice comfort measures, ask questions of a certified childbirth educator, and take a tour of the OB department and birthing suites. This Express class will familiarize parents-to-be with what to expect during labor and birth. Topics include labor, comfort measures, epidurals & pain relief, postpartum issues and more. When you register, you will receive a code for access to the on-line portion of class (please allow several hours to complete this portion of class). You will also sign up for the 5 hour in-person class which meets on a Saturday morning from 9 a.m. -3:30pm. with a lunch break provided. Please bring 2 pillows and a blanket or exercise mat to class.
