Learn about cord care, circumcision care, jaundice, diapering and bathing a newborn, plus a lot more! Class includes special techniques to calm a fussy baby, limit crying, and promote good sleep patterns—essential information for new parents! You will also learn infant CPR and receive a take-home infant CPR manikin and instructional DVD, so that you can practice more at home. Car seat safety for your newborn is covered and you will learn how to correctly buckle up a newborn in a carseat. (You are welcome to bring your own carseat if you have already purchased one, but it is not necessary.) Class meets on a weeknight for 3 hours x 2 wks or on a Saturday 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
