Urogyne Services is led by board certified urogynecologists of Illinois Urogynecology, Ltd.: Michael Moen, MD; Michael Noone, MD; and Brett Vassallo, MD.
Urogynecologists are subspecialists in obstetrics and gynecology. They complete additional training in the treatment of conditions that affect the female pelvic organs and the muscles and connective tissue that support them.
Patients will also work closely with a member of Edward's physical therapy staff who has received specialized training in this area. Urodynamic testing is completed by a trained urodynamic nurse specialist, Carol Vignali.
Carol Vignali, RN Carol has been a registered nurse for more than 29 years. Her extensive focus has been on women's health, starting with labor and delivery, post-partum and nursery for many years. She served in leadership positions including OB manager, quality improvement, infection control, and staff development/community education. Carol has been actively involved with pelvic medicine and urodynamic testing for the last seven years. She came on board at Edward Hospital in 2006 to develop and implement the Edward Urogyne Services Department in conjunction with Illinois Urogynecology, Ltd. from Park Ridge, IL. Together, along with the Rehabilitation Services Department, Edward Hospital is able to offer comprehensive pelvic medicine services to the women in Naperville and neighboring communities. Carol oversees the program, performs outpatient urodynamic procedures and believes that no woman, young or old, should have to suffer from pelvic pain or incontinence.

Lisa Furto graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2000 with her bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. She received her Manual Therapy Certification and Doctor of Physical Therapy with University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy after participating in a 1-year orthopedic and manual physical therapy residency that focused both on managing spine and women's health conditions. She has pursued her continuing education with managing pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction with pregnancy. Lisa enjoys guest lecturing on women's health topics with the Physical Therapy program at Northern Illinois University and is an active participant with the American Physical Therapy Association. Lisa encourages her patient to be advocates for family and friends in knowing that there are successful treatments available to manage pelvic floor conditions.

Jennifer Wright joined Edward Rehab and Sports Medicine department in 2011. Jennifer received her BS in physical therapy from the University of Illinois in 1990 and her Master’s in Health Science from the University of Indianapolis in 2001. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience working in an outpatient setting and has extensive training and clinical expertise in working with orthopedic issues. Jennifer has enhanced her knowledge by participating in a variety of advanced clinical education courses, including manual therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy, SI, and women’s health pelvic floor courses. Jennifer uses techniques from McKenzie Mechanics Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT), Stanley Paris, and Mulligan for optimal patient recovery. She recently completed certification in Graston Technique which utilizes instruments to reduce soft tissue restrictions and address repetitive stress injuries. Jennifer has also passed rigorous testing that allows her to work with women who have pelvic floor symptoms, such as, incontinence, urgency, frequency, and pelvic pain as well as pre/post natal conditions.
Jennifer enjoys the one-on-one time spent with her patients and believes that the best results from therapy occur when the patient and their therapist work together as a team.
