Dr. Denise Tompkins, Psy.D.
Dr. Tompkins is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in women that are the result of pregnancy, birth, new motherhood and reproductive issues. She also specializes in the treatment of children/adolescents and families. She has been trained and certified by Postpartum Support International as well as the Postpartum Stress Center. A local leader in perinatal issues, Dr. Tompkins conducts support groups, and develops programs to educate and train medical personnel and expectant parents. She is also instrumental in helping to develop a community wide screening protocol for pregnant and new mothers and she is a presenter at international conferences on this subject. Dr. Tompkins is a member of Edward Hospital and Linden Oaks Hospital Allied Staff and works closely with other specialists in women's health.
Dr. Tompkins received her undergraduate degree from Gannon University and graduate degrees from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She maintains a private practice in Naperville. Dr. Tompkins supervised the clinical training of the postdoctoral fellows as Child/Adolescent specialist and doctoral students at Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward, Naperville, Illinois. She has been the clinical training director of North Central Behavioral Health Systems, a five county wide mental health system. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Postpartum Support International, and the Society of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology.

Fatima Z. Ali, M.D.
Dr. Ali is Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. She is also Clinical Director of the Outpatient Program and Co-Director of the Eating Disorder Program at Linden Oaks Hospital, Naperville, Illinois.
She was honored with the Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association Award. She maintains a private practice out of her Wheaton office at Dupage Mental Health Services, Ltd. Dr. Ali is Board Certified by the American Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in Psychiatry and a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society.
Her clinical interest revolves mainly around women's emotional problems. These have included Eating Disorder, Postpartum Depression, Premenstrual Dysfunction, Menopausal Syndrome, Seasonal Affective Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety and Depression.
Dr. Ali was the recipient of Resident of the Year Award in 1988, the Faculty of the Year Award in 1990 and also a recipient of Certificate of Appreciation for Clinical Supervision of Medical Students of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, in 1998. After finishing her Residency at Loyola, she held a full time faculty position for five years. She later became the Clinical Director of "Especially for Women" Unit at Riveredge Hospital in Park Forest and also directed the Impatient Unit for several years.
