Bone density testing, also known as DEXA scanning, is a painless X-ray procedure that measures bone density in the lumbar spine and hip. This screening helps physicians identify and monitor osteoporosis in post-menopausal women.
DEXA scans are interpreted by a board-certified radiologist with Naperville Radiologists. A physician referral is required.
DEXA bone density testing is available at four of our imaging center locations.
