Nutrition Services at Edward provides inpatient and outpatient services consultation from a registered dietitian on a variety of nutrition-related diseases and concerns, including, but not limited to heart health, weight management, gastrointestinal disorders, renal disease and healthy eating. The Edward Diabetes Center provides special nutritional support for diabetics.

The best approach to good health is to prevent illness in the first place. Edward offers more than 300 different types of wellness classes, many of them nutrition related, such as Delicious Meets Nutritious series (free for patients within 30 days of discharge!). If you have dietary concerns, you can call the Central Scheduling Department at Edward to schedule an appointment with a dietitian at (630) 527-3200. During your first visit, a registered dietitian will conduct an evaluation and discuss your goals. After the initial screening, the dietitian and your primary care physician will collaborate to create an individualized treatment plan.
