For babies needing special care, our full-time staff of neonatologists and experienced neonatal nurses ensure that every baby receives optimal care in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. Our Level III status, recognized by the state as the highest level of care, means that our expert staff is prepared to treat any unexpected issues that may arise for babies born early or with congenital issues. Our board certified neonatologists and experience neonatal nurses are available 24/7. We have a broad panel of pediatric subspecialists available for consultation, if needed, at Edward.
As babies are closer to going home, the NICU staff provides the same level of specialized care to parents preparing to take their baby home for the first time. Learn more about what to expect in the NICU.
Special Care Pregnancies Edward's Perinatology Center is licensed and experienced in handling the most complicated cases for expectant women.
