Linden Oaks at Edward recognizes the need to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to our community. That's why we established Linden Oaks Medical Group – a team of experienced psychiatrists who specialize in adolescent and adult behavioral health services.

Our doctors, who are trained at some of the most prestigious medical schools, are on the cutting edge of treatment and management of behavioral health disorders. Their mission is to promote health, educational well being, and human development. Our doctors specialize in depression, substance abuse, attention deficit disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, eating disorders, medication management and disorders resulting from medical conditions. We also have doctors with expertise in mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

Susan Ahmari, M.D. Susan Ahmari, M.D.
Dr. Ahmari earned her medical degree from Finch University of Health Services-The Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Dr. Ahmari is board-certified in psychiatry. She practices general adult psychiatry with a special interest in the area of women's mental health, particularly surrounding reproductive issues such as pregnancy and mood disorders, as well as eating disorders.
 
 
Dawne R. Anderson, PMHNP-BC
Dawne is a board certified advanced nurse practitioner having received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Lewis University and her Masters of Science in nursing from Rush University with Family Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialty.
Catherine Camilleri, M.D. Catherine Camilleri, M.D.
Dr. Camilleri earned her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in psychiatry from Loyola University Medical Center. She is board-certified in psychiatry. Dr. Camilleri has extensive experience in both mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Dr. Camilleri treats patients from adolescents to geriatrics.

Shyamsunder Rao Chakilum, M.D.
Dr. Chakilum earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India. He completed his psychiatry residency at Detroit Psychiatric Institute/Wayne State University Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Chakilum’s child psychiatry training was completed at the Institute of Living /The University of Connecticut. He is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry with special interest in treating anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD in autistic children. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

   
Courtney M. Cowan, PMHNP-BC
Courtney is a board certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Vanderbilt University and her Masters of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, with a family psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner specialty.
 
 

Bradley Cutler, MD
Dr. Cutler earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, where he was chief resident. Dr. Cutler is on faculty at Rush University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society. Dr. Cutler is interested in all psychiatric disorders, and he has specific interests in psychotic disorders, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.

   
Christine M. Dahl, PMHNP-BC
Christine is a board certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southern Illinois University, and her Masters of Science in nursing from Rush University College of Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program.
   
Sarah Gresk, PMHNP-BC Sarah Gresk, PMHNP-BC
Sarah is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Sarah worked as a registered nurse at Linden Oaks Hospital for over six years providing care to both adults and adolescents. Sarah’s clinical interests are mood and anxiety disorders.
Kelli Keller, M.D. Kelli Keller, M.D.
Dr. Keller earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residencies and internships at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Throughout her career she has worked in rehabilitation, recovery, laboratory, and clinical settings. She is experienced in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Also, Dr. Keller has been recognized for her published poetry, been given honors, and several awards. Dr. Keller has been a practicing Psychiatrist since 2003.
   
Janice Kowalski, M.D.
Dr. Kowalski earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Rockford - College of Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kowalski also completed her fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kowalski currently serves as Medical Director of Adolescent Inpatient Services at Linden Oaks. Her interests include all areas of child and adolescent psychiatry with a special focus on anxiety disorders.

Melissa A. Kreiter, APN
Melissa received her Master’s Degree in Family Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  She completed her internship working with children, adolescents, adults, and families at South End Community Health Center in Boston, MA.  She completed a Multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Fellowship, again working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Braintree, MA where she continued to work full-time before joining Linden Oaks Medical Group.  Her interests include working collaboratively with a wide variety of patients to help people achieve their goals.  In her free time, she enjoys doing outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and swimming with her family.
 
 
David Lott, M.D.

David Lott, M.D.
Dr. Lott earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Dr. Lott completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board-certified in psychiatry and addiction psychiatry, and certified in addiction medicine (ASAM). Dr. Lott is currently medical director of the chemical dependency program at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville. He is a Clinical Assistance Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

   
Michael Martin, M.D.
Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency in psychiatry and internal medicine at Southern Illinois University. During Dr. Martin's residency, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (AOA). He is board certified in psychiatry and internal medicine. Dr. Martin's clinical interest is mental health care for persons with co-morbid medical and mental illnesses.

Sarah Masri received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. Sarah has a rich background in research in public health. She is certified by theNational Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

   
Lisa Pellegrini, M.D. Lisa Pellegrini, M.D.
Dr. Pellegrini earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in psychiatry, as well as completion of her residency in internal medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Pellegrini is board-certified in psychiatry.
 
 
Dara Pumphrey-Ruiz, M.D. Dara Pumphrey-Ruiz, M.D.
Dr. Pumphrey-Ruiz earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. She completed her residency training at Northwestern University.She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Illinois Psychiatric Society. Dr. Pumphrey-Ruiz’s particular areas of interest include mood disorders, addictions, and psychotic disorders.
 
Barry Rabin, M.D. Barry Rabin, M.D.
Board-certified in adult and geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Rabin is the medical director of Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward. Dr. Rabin received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his residency at Loyola University. Dr. Rabin is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Illinois Psychiatric Association, and the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry.
 
Vincent Sackett, M.D. Vincent Sackett, M.D.
Dr. Sackett earned his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He completed his residency at Loyola University affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Sackett is board certified in psychiatry. Dr. Sackett is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American College of Physician Executives and American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Sackett’s areas of interest are mood and anxiety disorders and geriatric psychiatry. He has over 30 years of experience in psychiatry.
 

Melissa Sautter, PMNHP-BC
Melissa is a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner having received her degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Melissa was a nursing supervisor for Chicago Children’s Center for Behavioral Health at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. She was also a Nurse Practice Specialist for “Money Follows the Person” at the University of Illinois.

 
 
Erika Shavers, MD

Erika Shavers, M.D.

Erika Shavers, MD, received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Shavers completed her psychiatry residency as well as a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Illinois Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Shaver’s areas of clinical interest are substance use disorder, anxiety and depression.
 
 
Shannon Shi, M.D. Shannon Shi, M.D.
Dr. Shi is a licensed clinical psychiatrist with extensive experience in child and adolescent health. She earned her medical degree from Shanxi Medical University in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China. A former pediatrician, Dr. Shi has published several medical articles and has practiced in the United States since 1999. Dr. Shi completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2004.
 
 
M. Shafi Siddiqui, MD
Dr. Siddiqui is Board Certified in General Adult psychiatry and is currently Board Eligible in Geriatric Psychiatry.  He completed medical school training from Deccan College of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, India and completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency Training from The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and his Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Training from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, McGaw Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.  He also has a fellowship in Psychoanalysis from the Institute of Psychoanalytic Education (formerly NYU Psychoanalytic Institute). Dr. Siddiqui’s areas of interest include geriatric and adult psychiatry.
   
Eden Steege, PA-C Eden Steege, PA-C
Eden Steege received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. Eden’s clinicalexperience includes emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, Geriatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and surgery, with extensive experience in general psychiatry. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Lekshmi Venugopal, MD Lekshmi Venugopal, M.D.
Dr. Venugopal earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Rockford, Illinois. She completed her residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Venugopal practices general psychiatry with a special interest in addictions and psychotherapy. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association.
 
Walter Whang, M.D. Walter Whang, M.D.
Dr. Whang earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University and completed his residency in psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Whang is board-certified in psychiatry. He has an extensive teaching background at both Loyola University Medical Center and University of Chicago Medical Center. He is currently clinical assistant professor at University of Chicago Medical Center. He also serves as medical director of adult inpatient services at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, medical director of Linden Oaks Hospital outpatient center in Plainfield, and medical director of Linden Oaks Medical Group.
