The Edward Hospital Department of Radiology provides all diagnostic radiology services needed for breast care. Services include mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, and sentinel node imaging.
Darius Gilvydis, MD graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Chemical Engineering and then went on to complete Medical School at Michigan State University. He was residency trained at St Joseph Hospital in Michigan and fellowship trained at Yale University School of Medicine, where he focused on Digital Mammography, Breast MRI, and Breast Intervention.
Breast care coordinator
Edward's oncology certified nurse serves as a care coordinator and as a resource to patients and family through the breast cancer screening, diagnostic and rehabilitation process.
