Continuing care is key to long term recovery. Linden Oaks offers a variety of support groups to help reinforce the coping skills learned during treatment. Structure and support are vital in making the difficult transition from treatment back to every day life. In addition, you can meet other people who are coping with similar situation and build a network to help you through difficult times.

Post-partum Depression and Anxiety Support

  • Call the Mom's Line – Edward also provides a phone line dedicated to women, or anyone concerned about a woman, who may be experiencing signs or symptoms of post-partum depression. Call our Mom's Line at (630) 527-7294.
  • Nurturing Mom – A support group for post-partum depression and anxiety. Click here for more.
  • Family Time: A Support Group for New Moms and Dads – Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) signs and symptoms, practical education on how to support a woman with PMAD and how PMADs affect the entire family unit. All family members are welcome and there is no cost. Click here for more.

Equine assisted therapy
Linden Oaks' Arabella House works with Reins of Change, a private stable dedicated to providing mental health services for people by interacting with horses. For more information, visit www.reinsofchange.com.
