Ali Shaibani, M.D.
Neurointerventionalist, Edward Neurosciences Institute
Dr. Shaibani is board certified in neuroradiology. He is the director of neurointerventional surgery and the interventional stroke program at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, and director of interventional neuroradiology at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Shaibani is an associate professor of neuroradiology and interventional neuroradiology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Shaibani completed fellowships in endovascular surgical neuroradiology at the University of Miami's (Fla.) Jackson Memorial Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and neuroradiology at the Washington University (Mo.) School of Medicine's Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. He is a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, Radiological Society of North America and American Society for Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology.
